There the scene repeats itself like the first time,....etc.
The correct literal meaning of the word is "script", however in the context you outlined i believe "the scene" is more appropriate any more commonly used. Cheers :-)

sorry.... should be 'and' and not 'any'. I'm a lousy typist.
If I may just.... and of course if it fits in with the rest of your work. I rather like replacing the word "there" with "at this point". It seems more appropriate to transmit the sense even if if is not a literal word per word translation....which is not always the best solution.

script si usa sia per copioni di film che teatrali. E' utilizzabile anche in Inglese come "idiom", cioè traducendo la frase " il copione si ripete"
