Infact, after this course, I would like to ask/suggest Sabrina if it could be possible to have something on (I'll say it in Italian) la Procedura Civile and la Procedura Penale. Since I haven't got a legal background but I built it up while translating I would appreciate if someone could make an overview on i protagonisti della P.C. e della P.P. e le varie fasi previste.
Thank you very much. I'm available, if needed, to give further info.

"Unfortunately this webinar was not as I expected but my comment wants to be a constructive critique...." Read more Of course, the legal field is very complex to deal with and in a 60 minutes session it's impossible to explain everything about legal translation but I think that the main weakness of this webinar was the confused and not synthetical organization of its content.
First of all, a power point presentation should be an instrument to "summarize" the main points with schematic examples or keywords that then have to be explained and not just "read". Especially if a course is for beginners in legal field who have not a solid background to understand legal technicalities!
Second of all, the provided material was just a list of terminology without context or sources. Terminology and translation examples are welcome but they also need to be explained, maybe by providing the case of a term that can have more than one equivalent in different contexts.
Furthermore, we did not receive any tips about dictionaries or legal sources. Sorry but the answer "oxford and then ... you can find a lot of dictionaries on the Internet" is not really helpful... !
