CAD system for making patterns
I'm not sure what battuta means in this case. Is it the characters (letters, etc.) printed on the pattern along with the poisiton of the other items? Or am I completely out of line and it means something completely different.? Thanks in advance.

I've never heard it used this way but it seems to match.
It's a strip of cloth - can be of different widths, usually has buttons or buttonholes, topstitching etc. It can also be used for polo shirts and fully opened shirts.

That's all I've found. The term is referred to the lenght of mouvement made by the "racla" and it takes from old techniques, when a "lastra di piombo" was used
