We're all loaded up and ready to go!
The 'caricato' aspect as it relates to the photographers wandering about to take photos at an event. Makes me think of the film being loaded in the camera and ready to shoot.

we're all loaded!
another option - I'm not too happy with it myself (hence the confidence level), but given that you mentioned photographers, "loading a camera" came to mind, given that "caricatissimi" expression - I interpret is as if they've all got their cameras ready to snap a load of photos, hence the attempt to translate that into English, even though "to be loaded" can mean a lot of different things, depending on the context. see if it might fit your context.

We're excited!
Credo che in un fumetto questa possa essere l'espressione più semplice e ad effetto.

we're ready to shoot
Given that they are photographers....
1 ora
We're STOKED!/ We're pumped!
Just a couple other ideas.
