..Mentre l'efficacia è espressione dell'attività intrinseca, la potenza di un farmaco è espressione dell'affinità del farmaco per il recettore; è cioè la dose di farmaco capace di provocare una determinata risposta e quindi non ha quindi nulla a che vedere con l'efficacia.
Di esempi se ne possono trovare in tutte le classi farmacologiche. Così per gli analgesici oppiacei si parla di dosi equianalgesiche perché i vari principi attivi, con diversa potenza, se utilizzati a dosaggi opportuni consentono una analgesia simile."

Certo. Dosaggio, concentrazione e potenza sono ovviamente in relazione tra loro, ma sono 3 cose distinte.

Certo. Dosaggio, concentrazione e potenza sono ovviamente in relazione tra loro, ma sono 3 cose distinte.

| Sono ben consapevole che dosaggio potenza e concentrazione habbiano definizioni ben distinte, ma la parola strenght può essere tradotta in tutti questi modi e l'unica cosa che mi può dire qual è il modo corretto è il contesto. Dal mio contesto è evidente che si sta parlando del dosaggio dato che quando confronta le "strenght" confronta 35, 50 e 75 mg |

Il mio consiglio è di verificare comunque il termine con il cliente: se si deve usare la terminologia CoE (Council of Europe), dovrebbero metterti la disposizione il glossario;
Io l'ho tradotto così per la coppia di lingue che mi interessava (EN-RO) ed era il termine standard da usare. Se fai una ricerca nel glossario di proz. per altre coppie di lingue , troverai anche altri riferimenti che confermano la mia soluzione.

Ho fatto caso che la confusione persiste anche guardando le altre risposte di proz (En-Spa e En-Fr). Io sono abbastanza sicura che si tratti di concentrazione perchè ho avuto una traduzione simile (En-Ro) e <concentrazione> veniva imposta come termine da usare per <strength>.
Per il resto, hai ragione, la differenza è sottile. Forse è meglio di chiedere al cliente, qual'è la soluzione che preferisce, specificando che ci sono due possibili interpretazioni.
