Italian term

equivalenza a parità di dosaggio

Italian to English Medical Medical: Pharmaceuticals Anticoagulants
I'm struggling with the part between asterisks. Any help appreciated. TIA!

euivalence at equal (unit) doses

My take is that it means their equivalence of their effect on anti-Factor Xa at equal unit doses is controversial

The 'units' is suggested by the rest of the phrase i.e. ...a parità di unità...in other words, the equivalence of their Anti factor Xa effect if you use the same number of units (both preparations being measured in units) is controversial or disputed. There is no general consensus.

Or maybe 'equivalence at at the same unit doses'

neutral Daniel Frisano : I disagree about doses being necessarily unitary. They can be arbitrary, provided that they are constant across trials; "in unità" means that they are measured in units.

agree texjax DDS PhD : I'd say equivalence per unit dose or equivalent effect per unit dose

equivalence at (otherwise) unchanged doses

That's the idea.
