In una serie di controlli da effettuare su un ascensore:
- visual check of controller and drive system
- test all emergency stop button(s) in upward direction of the empty car
- visual check of the wiring (no bridges in safety circuit, earthing etc.)
-check for indications of elevator options (safety gear on cwt, **anti jump device**, seismic etc.)

Francesca: noto ora che nel secondo caso (anti jump device for filler material) non mi pare molto adatta la soluzione del fine corsa. In rete vedo diversi Dispositivi anti-interruzione (anche elettrici, ma non solo). Assai generici ma apparentemente proponibili.

ciao Francesca, non sono certa che il termine sua corretto, ma ho trovato questo documento in cui si fa riferimento proprio a dispositivi di sicurezza in caso di terremoti
Earthquake. Buildings located in a seismic risk zone (Zone 3 or greater in the applicable code) should be designed with special" supports and anchors for the elevator equipment as required by Appendix F of ANSI/ASME A17.1. Restraints are generally required for counterweights; tie downs are required for major elevator machines; rope guards are required to prevent ropes from jumping from the sheaves; and retainer plates are required to maintain the car within the rails.
