With the assistance of the Diamond Packaging process experts (our team included one person who normally worked on the change-overs and another internal process expert), we assembled a list of 18 suggested changes.
The list included mostly inexpensive items that could be done quickly using in-house labour (such as adding a remote control panel with *** ‘jog’ and ‘run’ control***, elongating the holes in various pieces of equipment to make them easily movable, replacing 9/16 inch adjustment nuts with wing nuts, eliminating obsolete parts from the parts rack, replacing missing tools, and replacing half-inch bolts with quick adjusters for hold downs and rails).

Purtroppo il contesto non dice molto. Il testo in generale è su altro, ma fa un esempio di come apportare miglioramenti agli impianti e prende questo esempio appunto di una carton machine/cartoner semiautomatica.
