E' il titolo di un bassorilievo in bronzo di Andrea Briosco detto il Riccio.
Questo il contesto in cui compare il titolo dell'opera, per la sua descrizione:
Au centre de la composition, la Renommée, qui est montrée ailée comme une Victoire, et debout sur ce globe qui représente l'univers, embouche une trompette, comme la Muse de l'Histoire - la trompette est brisée malheureusement - et tient la couronne immortelle qui doit rappeler les oeuvres du grand homme disparu.
Devant elle, le cheval Pégase, donc ce cheval ailé, frappe de son sabot la terre et fait jaillir la source Hypocrène, donc qui est la source de l'inspiration des poètes. Et l'on voit à l'arrière-plan des arbres qui bourgeonnent, qui semblent fleurir, tandis que de l'autre côté, un arbre complètement desséché sert d'arrière-plan à la Mort également ailée - donc, vous voyez trois allégories ailées qui ont des significations différentes - avec sa faux jetée par terre, car elle est impuissante finalement à lutter contre cette Renommée qui assure aussi d'une manière terrestre la survie de l'homme vertueux.
