domed (bevelled) switch base (lower part of the switches)

"sottoparte dei bottone calottata", probably means :
The lower part of the buttons are (to be) domed (or bevelled).
The second phrase "ovvero, liscia, ricoperta" says or smooth (or) covered) indicates that the switch buttons must have a smooth rounded "base". Usually that part has a bevelled surround, but it can be a radiused profile. Most switch buttons have a thin hexagonal nut to hold it in place, so, a radiused or chamfered bevel is fitted over the nut.
Example sentence:

The switch base must be fitted with a bevelled or radiused bezel.

bottom shanked buttons

Little to work on but this is my try.....unless you are talking about snap fasteners, but in this case the female, the upper part, has a shank
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snap_fastener

Shank buttons are buttons that have a small loop on the bottom to help provide an extra bit of space between the button and the garment it is attached to. Depending upon the style of the button, the shank can be made of metal, fabric, or plastic. Unlike an ordinary shankless button, buttons with shanks have no holes in the top. To attach a shank button to your fabric, you simply run your thread through the back of the shank.
