when i saw the title of this thread i immediately thought about the charming nickname for juventus fans...i don't think the translation 'hunchbacks' would probably go down too well with your client though!

hunch

Gobba here means to hunch, meaning "to assume a crouched or cramped posture" or "to draw (oneself or one's shoulders) up or together".

Do you like jumping and hunching?
Note from asker:
Thank you
Peer comment(s):

disagree Chiara Righele : in this case it's not related to the movement, but to the configuration of the terrain

Thank you for pointing out, maybe I was mislead, since the subtitle said "Apparently a move", and I believe "salto" means to jump, so I thought gobba meant a hunch. :-(

I think it fits perfectly. The sentence is: "Do you like jumps and humps/hummocks?". It's not a move but simply the type of terrain.
Note from asker:
Thanks Francesco but I don't think this is quite fits
Peer comment(s):

agree Oliver Lawrence : 'hump': not a move but the type of terrain that the snowboard course runs across

leap frog

it does make sense to say salti and then gobbe if not one could say salti e dorsi. Just a guess but it is a sort of exercise - does anyone remember whgen we used to play leap frog
