"Con lettera di data xxx ottobre 2008, il Tribunale Arbitrale ha comunicato alle Parti che intendeva assegnare alle stesse termini in conformità all'articolo 24.2 del Regolamento svizzero, successivamente al deposito della memoria difensiva dovuta dalle Parti Convenute in data 15 gennaio 2009.

I have looked at Article 24.2 of the Swiss Rules, but it doesn't help much here.
This long arbitration award contains all varieties of "memorie" - "di risposta", "di replica" "conclusionale" etc etc and the respondents are two different companies of the same group (but I don't know if that is relevant here as regards "duplica").

1. L’articolo 169 del codice di procedura civile è sostituito dal seguente:
«Art. 169. - (Delle memorie difensive e loro comunicazioni). – Nel termine di trenta giorni posteriori alla scadenza del termine per la costituzione del convenuto, l’attore può replicare alla comparsa di risposta con memoria difensiva, e negli ulteriori trenta giorni il convenuto può comunicare una propria ** memoria di duplica all’attore **, rispettivamente anche con i mezzi di trasmissione di documenti a distanza, provvedendo al loro deposito nella cancelleria del tribunale.
