Is it possible to make an agency agreement with no representation? I mean, having an ''agent'' act as a business promoter for another but not in the other person's name?

Why not, term this person a business promoter in the first place, instead of an agent, and the agreement a contract rather than an agency agreement, and draw the former, accordingly.

| Thanks all of you - Hope this answer is in the right place - I never know where I should add notes. I will briefly try to explain what this contract is supposed to cover. Company A (Principal) appoints Company B (Agent) to manage a telepass (motorway toll) service in a foreign country through the Service Provider - Company C. Co. A are appointing Co. B as his Agent .. but with no representation rights where he is paid commission for his services. I just wondered if there was a correct short form in English. Hope this is clearer ... and everyone enjoy New Year's Eve |

"Mandate without representation" has 45 Google hits. I think you can skip 'contratto' if it is the title of the document.
If I were you and needed to specify it is an agreement, I would definitely opt for deborahmelie's solution.

| Thank you all for your kind suggestions - When i asked the client they said they had used one before and the title had been REMUNERATED AGENCY CONTRACT WITH NO REPRESENTATION RIGHTS. That doesn't get google hits either .. but it seems to satisfy their needs .. I still wonder though if there is a 'correct' correspondence in English for this term. Thanks again |

: 45 Google hits is extremely low in terms of Google hits. For example "new agency contract" (also three words) gets 2000 hits. IMHO neither 45 nor 7 is sufficient for any consideration at all.

Sure, 45 hits is very low, but it's all the same higher than 7, i.e. the number of Google hits for "agency without representation". I think what makes the difference in this question is 'senza rappresentanza', otherwise agency contract/agreement would fit
