Italiano term
fornelli
Da Italiano a Inglese
Tecnico/Meccanico
Industria edilizia/Ingegneria civile
Tunnel construction
A footnote to the above, with the reference no. appearing after "realizzazione", states:
Any ideas as to whether this technical term has an equivalent in English?

James (Jim) Davis
: NOT with "slough". These are basically unplanned holes in the roof of a tunnel, in this context.

: A fornello is either a hole in which you place explosive for blasting or a hole in the roof of a caved in mine or tunnel.
