si mettono al servizio di una realtà

Da Italiano a Inglese Affari/Finanza Affari/Commercio (generale)
My mind is blank. Any suggestions of a good way to say this? It's from a client testimonial.

“A prescindere dagli strumenti, il rapporto che abbiamo istaurato con XXX non è solo per la competenza tecnica e per la prossimità. Le persone di XXX con cui abbiamo lavorato sono persone entusiaste che si mettono al servizio di una realtà con molta umiltà”.

Discussion

Judith McLean (asker) Sep 2, 2010:
The writer is the client and XXX a supplier of software/solutions to banks. I had presumed that "prossimità" was geographical. I think you might be right about company for "realtà" i.e. their customers. I'm tempted to use Oliver's suggestion.
James (Jim) Davis Sep 2, 2010:
More context please What is the relationship between the writer and xxx, customer supplier? What service do they provide? What is this "prossimità". What precisely is the "realtà"? Often a "realtà" is a company or plant.

there's no context, but the extract suggests to me a testimonial for volunteers working in famine-relief situations - something like that?

Well - whatever the context, my suggestion still applies.
Note from asker:
No, it's purely a business context - one business providing a service to another in the financial sector

serve us / our company ...

with gread dedication..."
I would use "company" or even "bank" depending on the actual facts, or just simply "us" is you are not sure of them.

Perform their duties with dignity / render a dignified service to the company

The general impression I get from this phrase is a general feeling that the people with whom "they" have worked with are committed, enthusiastic workers who perform their jobs with pride and dignity.
Example sentence:

"Air Force Honor Guard members perform their duties with strength and dignity"
