Pediatric Kidney Depth Calculation
When the Pediatric State parameter is set to Yes
at the Patient Information input dialog, the kidney
depth will be calculated using the pediatric method
customized (Gordon –default, or Raynaud).
If the patient age is less than 4 years, setting the
Pediatric State parameter to Yes is mandatory for
all camera bases clearance methods except Gates
GFR analysis.
For Gates GFR analysis, there is no need to set
the Pediatric State to Yes when the patients age
is less than 4 years, SO THAT that the application will use
the Tonnensen’s method for estimation of kidney depth.
