A recent scam consisted of contacting me from the SERVICE PRIME HQ platform to ask for the translation of a novel or a work of fiction. The rate was over 12 cents (a first warning sign). Hi,
A recent scam consisted of contacting me from the SERVICE PRIME HQ platform to ask for the translation of a novel or a work of fiction. The rate was over 12 cents (a first warning sign). I delivered the job on time. They asked for a "processing fee" of $95. I paid this (a second warning sign). They then asked me for an income tax payment of $225. I said that I wouldn't pay because I had never been asked for something similar from any client. They told me that I had to do this really soon.
Anyway, I did not pay the income tax and they never paid what they owed me.
Nisa Halima was the "Project Manager" who contacted me by WhatsApp.
The Trust Union Bank is also involved. I don't know if it really exists or if it was just set up for this scam.

If a 'client' offers suspiciously high rates and asks you to pay them to work for them, run faster than your internet connection!

It's sad, really, that this "suspiciously high rate" is already low.

Usually real clients don't contact you via Whatsapp and/ or Telegram. I think this should be the first red flag! Also, no client asks for a processing fee or any kind of fees.
Sorry for this bad experience and thanks for sharing with us.
