Italian term

lavati dall'aspetto coloniale

Italian to English Marketing Textiles / Clothing / Fashion
From a description of a clothing line for teenage boys, including shirts and jeans:

Capi sovratinti o lavati dall’aspetto coloniale, intrecciati all’immagine piu’ moderna ispirata alle uniformi militari…

I have "washed to a vintage look" - not sure if that's quite what is meant.

overdyed or washed garments with a colonial look

I would translate the phrase like this. In my experience, Italian fashion-related texts say "vintage" if they mean vintage, so I'd stick to the literal translation in this case.
