si tratta di un pezzo del meccanismo interno di una maniglia, ho trovato rod per bielletta ma non mi convince la zama è un materiale risultante dall'insieme di zinco,alluminio e magnesio, mi chiedo se c'è un termine corrispondente in inglese.

I don't know about your bielletta, altough "rod" seems a fair shot. You'd have to be able to see it to be sure. "Zama", on the other hand, is "Zamak" afaik (also Zamac); you'll have no problem finding a fair (though not massive) number of websites where you can check out the theory.
