Ce bord d’attaque ondulé 5 de la sonde 1 sert à prévenir le décollement de couche limite qui apparaît lorsqu’un profilé mince est placé à certaines incidences dans un écoulement.

Translated as disbonding but wonder whether it should be delamination?

This idea came from the following entry in GDT:
