Italian term

coreografie gonfiabili

Italian to English Other Tourism & Travel
I'm having a bit of trouble with this expression, which appears twice in a text about a children's entertainment agency.

"XXX organizza giornate di animazione per bambini con spettacoli di magia, giochi a premi e *coreografie gonfiabili*, babydance e mascotte a tema impersonate dai nostri animatori."

"Attraverso colorate *coreografie gonfiabili* li trasporteremo nel regno delle favole."

I'm particularly stuck on how to translate the "coreografie" part of this expression. I am tempted just to use "inflatables", but any other thoughts would be gratefully received.

inflatables

I don't think "decor", "scenery" and the like create a clear picture in the reader's mind. This is a term that everyone will understand.

3 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks Phil. I contacted the client about this, as I wanted to be exactly sure what was involved. "Decor" and "scenery" just wouldn't do, because these inflatables are there to be used (slides, ball pits, etc.). They're not just decorative. "Inflatables" really seems to be the only good English option, although Luskie, I can see exactly where you are coming from and very much appreciated your contribution. "

the reason why I ventured in putting forward a phrasing which is undoubtedly poorly used is that "gonfiabili" alone is used quite a lot in italian. imo, these people are trying to confer an "added value" to their services, by emphasizing that they use *whole* coherent sets of inflatables, full *thematic* sets of inflatables, or what you en natives may want to call them. everything about, say, peter pan, and not just a heart here, a tower there and mickey mouse in the entrance. hth!
