Getting away from the literal translation Although derogare would usually be translated from depart from (certainly not derogate in my opinion), I think that Silvestro's answer is a far clearer way of getting precisely the same message accross in English and I'm also sure this is a standard legal phrase. In the case of the other answer using "depart from" it seems a very complicated way of saying something quite simple. Considering that lawyers in the UK at least are now encouraged to try to state all clauses clearly so that they can also be understood by non-lawyers, I really don't think this phrase would be used. I also think that using "depart from" would create a problem for the next part of the sentence, "con deroga a", whereas with Silvio's option perhaps you could say "save as otherwise provided and strictly limited to the individual clauses" thus clearly stating the message of the orginal text.
