Italian term or phrase: integratore
It's a product you take orally and it helps you to absorb calcium from your diet. Would it be a supplement or an integrator? I've never heard of an integrator.... Thanks!!

food supplement

Explanation:
I have worked as the seller of such. In Spanish they call them suplementos alimenticios if I remember correctly.
By the way: integratori alimentari = functional foods (found in the Hoepli dictionary, but never heard of that before).
Google for food supplements. I a sure you will find plenty of references.
