Update: The People has Spoken
Against the Grain it is @ 2:00 on June 15

[It's been more than six months since our last meetup, and no one has stepped forward to organize another one, so here's my pitch:

Meeting a Saturday afternoon instead of Friday evening and meeting at either the Grain /Sugar Beach or Balzac at the Distillery for a summery outing.]

So where would you prefer, Sugar Beach or the Distillery? Jun 3, 2013

Both have their advantages.
The Grain (Against the grain) is right on the lake and has outdoor seating, and booking tables in advance is easy and one can make a picnic out of it by moving over to Sugar beach in the afternoon. Parking is a challenge, though, on busy days.

Balzac is lovely, but it can be hard to find seating for a larger group (more than 6-7) and it is further away from the lake (which is fine when it is cool). Easier access to parking (and I believe more transit o

Please share your opinions!

TTC accessible Jun 5, 2013

Hi guys,
A location which is TTC accessible will be perfect. I don't have access to a car and would love to meet other translators in the city. Thanks!

Hi Hege,
Thanks for organizing again. The patio at Against the Grain looks really nice as long as the weather cooperates.
