Italiano term
le tipicità del territorio
Da Italiano a Inglese
Affari/Finanza
Viaggi e Turismo
food and wine tourism
In fact, I'm having trouble rendering the whole sentence in a way that sounds natural in English.
"Sia il cibo che la moda sono in grado di veicolare un esperienza di tipo emozionale a diretto contatto con le tipicità del territorio e con l'unicità dello stile e del brand Italia."

local traditions
"Sia il cibo che la moda sono in grado di veicolare un esperienza di tipo emozionale a diretto contatto con le tipicità del territorio e con l'unicità dello stile e del brand Italia."
"Both the food and the fashion convey an emotional experience in direct contact with local traditions and the uniqueness of the style and trade mark that is Italy."
I translated first and have just read Russell's remarks. I felt that this needed an alternative to Nicole's translation, mainly because of "territory". I almost never translate this literally as Nicole has. "area" and "region" might be more appropriate in the broader context, which we don't have.
Take a look at what Google gives. It is mainly political or translations.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer.
Comment: "I took elements from all the answers and comments (I agree with Russell on "convey"). Unfortunately, I can't share the points and James' answer was the closest to my final sentence. Thanks to all of you for your help."

characteristics of the territory (see explanation)
Sia il cibo che la moda sono in grado di veicolare un esperienza di tipo emozionale a diretto contatto con le tipicità del territorio e con l'unicità dello stile e del brand Italia.
This is what I suggest:
Both food and fashion are able to elicit an emotional experience that is directly connected to the characteristics of the territory and the uniqueness of Italian style and brands.

Thanks Mara :) You're right, not so unique anymore, is it?

: Purely out of personal choice I would use "convey" for elicit, "connected with" and "the style and trademarks of Italy".

the typical features of the territory
Both food and fashion can convey emotions directly linked to the typical features of the territory, the uniqueness of Italian style and the distinctiveness of the Italy brand.
"Territory" (and "typicity", which is not usually pluralised in English), is an important concept in food and wine, not just in Italy.
"The Italy brand" (not "brands") is a popular concept in Italian marketing circles.
I would suggest using a synonym for "unicità" to give the list of three elements a more English 1+1+1 format instead of the popular Italian 1+(1+1) configuration.
