Discussion

Andreea Bostan (asker) Jun 25, 2007:
Nope! there are no commas or hyphens
xlationhouse Jun 25, 2007:
There are courses out there called "fundamentals of fluidics". Are you sure there are no commas or hyphens missing? (I realize we usually don't know if it's the case.) Anything in the accompanying text to shed light on what "grandezza" is here?
Andreea Bostan (asker) Jun 25, 2007:
this is the name of a subject studied during a course.
James (Jim) Davis Jun 25, 2007:
More context please.

base units

The first link defines (m, kg, s, ...) as the "grandezze fondamentali" of the S.I., while the second calls them "base units".

BTW: "grandezza" means "dimension/measure" in physics context, while it would be "greatness" in a more mundane one
