: You are right. It must have been late for me as well :).In this case we are not dealing with a relation but with a database. What surprises me is that in italian they used "n-upla" instead of n-tupla. (which is not correct based on the definition).

yes, that's why I thought that n-tuple could fit in a text like this - but I reckon I'm still having troulbe in grasping the real meaning of it (you know, it's 2:41 am ;), and I seem to understand that you can be more helpful here (no sarcasm intended!)
