I find this acronym in a report about a patient with cardiac symptoms - dispnea, setto paradosso, discinesia apicale, ipertofia parietale ....
The complete sentence says: "Pertanto, si ricovera per essere sottoposto a CVG."
What kind of test is a CVG? I have the impression it's an imaging study of the heart valves or ventricles, but I'm not sure and in any case I can't think of an English term.

| Ciao, grazie della risposta. Forse e' utilizzato spesso nelle traduzioni dal russo! A lot of the references are by the same Russian authors [ Ianovskiĭ GV, Stepanenko AP, Efimtseva TK.]. And in some of the Italian references I've been reading tonight, it seems that they use it like "coronarografia". Beh ... don't spend any more time on it! |
