Here, a clarification from those "in the know" almost more than a translation. The phrase (from a press release announcing changes in a pharmaceutical manufacturing firm) is:
"Il CdA ha nominato A--- B--- attribuendole la delega alla produzione."
OK - are they saying that the board named her "Vice President in charge of production" or are they saying that she's been named a Vice President and, in addition, has additional oversight duties in the production area? It's that word "delega" that's throwing me off.
