Italiano term

titoli di bilancio

Da Italiano a Inglese Affari/Finanza Finanza (generale)
referred to in a description of a bond, under the heading 'garanzie':

"delegazione di pagamento a valere sulle entrate afferenti i primi tre titoli di bilancio dell'Ente ai sensi degli artt......."

I know that the term means "la più ampia aggregazione delle operazioni di entrata e di spesa" but I am stumped as to the term we use in English.

items of revenue in the financial statements

to be drawn from income in respect of the first three items of revenue in the financial statements of the....

From the context (entrate), these must be revenue items. Exactly which ones is given in the reference to the articles of the legislation. It is unlikely that other countries (UK US) have identical laws, so a 100% nail on the head translation probably does not exist.

In simple terms it says that payment must be made from the income (a valere sulle entrate) relating to the first three items in the financial statements. I imagine this is payment of interest on the bond and perhaps also repayment of principal. Yes in the context (that I can see) I think it is safe.

Note from asker:
tx Jim. From the context it's clear that we're talking about deducting from income here, so whereas the definition that I found of the term refers to both what comes in and what goes out, you think in the context it's safe to assume that titoli refers only to what's come in?
