Italiano term

ha venduto l'operatività della società XXX

Da Italiano a Inglese Affari/Finanza Finanza (generale)
In a police statement, the person states that AA 'ci ha venduto l'operatività della società XXX da lui organizzata con la banca per creare fondi e liquidità discrete a favore della società XXX'
I can't work out the exact meaning of this sentence.
Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi Grey and thanks for your prompt reply .. I am sure it is some kind of financing agreement, I had thought along the lines of 'financial plan' but wanted an expert opinion - a possible synonym for operativà in this case could be 'schema finanziaria'? A peep at my next question might well give you the extra context you need. .... Thanks so far!

I'm not sure exactly how to word it either without a bit more context, but you may be looking at the problem wrong. It isn't so much the "operatività" of the company as it is the "operatività" (i.e. a financing agreement, I would assume) with the bank.
