I can't find any information on this term.
Riguardo impianti di climatizzazione.
Quattro controlli annuali con cadenza trimestrale al fine di eseguire i seguenti interventi:
- controllo funzionale della strumentazione in campo****(centraline DDC PLC, ***Comandi a distanza, ecc) verifica della corretta rispondenza dei valori rilevati con quelli strumentali.

Hi Gio,
I would just leave the abbreviations because the way I see it saying centraline DDC PLC is like saying schermo LCD. You do see LCD display but personally I don’t use that because LCD is already Liquid Crystal Display so LCD display would be Liquid Crystal Display Display, see what I mean?
That said you will find usage of PLC or DDC Control so I’d say many people see it as ok, maybe just verbose
