Italiano term

SPESE PUBBL. DA AMM.RE

Da Italiano a Inglese Affari/Finanza Contabilità/Amministrazione
From an annual report. An item under the heading "Description" in the "Intangible Assets" table. Other items include Software, Patents, Study and Research Costs.

AMM.NE would make more sense to me, but it's definitely .RE

TIA for any suggestions.

Pubblication costs to amortize

amm.re could be the abbreviation of ammortizzare (to amortize)

I'm not sure about Pubbl. and I guessed it could be Pubblicazioni.
It is perhaps about some printed material to amortize in several fiscal years.

sorry about the typo, publication
that is, if I have even guessed its meaning...

agree James (Jim) Davis : pubblicizzazione - advertising costs probably

Ah, yes, it could be "Pubblicità" in Italian, some large ad campaign to amortize in several years... :-)
agree Katia DG : spese pubblicitarie

agree Howard Bryant : Probably "Publicity expenses to be amortised". Maybe ask them for an unabbreviated "pubbl." to find out its full word. "Amm.re" will be the infinitive "ammortizzare" whereas you were perhaps expecting "amm.ne" for "ammortizzazione".

"Amm.re" in the original is correct as it is, short for "da ammortizzare"
Something went wrong...
