has anyone suggestions for the correct Italian equivalent for "article addendum"?
I'm translating a research article.
The "addendum" is meant to be "a section of new material that is added after the first edition or first printing", other than the "appendix", which is normally "a section of extra information that is useful to the reader." (Britannica: https://www.britannica.com/dictionary/eb/qa/what-s-the-diffe...
Appendice should not be correct for the above reason.
Integrazione all'articolo? Would it be correct to use it in the context of scientific writing?

A suo tempo, scrissi a non ricordo più quale editore. La mia segnalazione fu accettata.
Chiunque ha studiato latino conosce la differenza fra aggiungere ( addendum) ed emendare che non sono sinonimi.
non saprei.
Mi sto cimentando per la prima volta con un articolo scientifico completo e sto cercando di capirne bene la struttura.
Da Scholar.it mi pare di vedere che si possa omettere, ma nel contesto corrente preferisco lasciarlo.
