The author uses this form seemingly to express that an object is characterized, determined, in certain definite aspects. The Kantian categories are "determinatezze" of an object.

"Qui le categorie perdono il contatto con l’ente e si trasformano in “datità della coscienza” (cf. Külpe 1915: 6f.), per cui sostanza e accidente, causa ed effetto non si lasciano più concepire come determinatezze oggettuali ottenute per via astrattiva."

Any ideas? I was using "determinacies" but I'm not sure of this... is "determinants" better? Or something entirely different?
