Visto che: "Der Notar ist, obwohl er ein öffentliches Amt ausübt – mit Ausnahme des badischen Amtsnotars und des württembergischen Bezirksnotars (beide noch bis 31. Dezember 2017) – ein freier Beruf."
Potresti dire che si tratta di un notaio pubblico ufficiale o notaio funzionario pubblico. In Germania il notaio non è necessariamente un pubblico ufficiale, come in Italia (secondo la legge 89/1913 il notaio è anche un pubblico ufficiale)...

Propone diverse alternative, ma principalmente partendo da consiglio, non consigliere. Vista la frase inserita da Giovanna, tuttavia, sembra effettivamente più una persona fisica. Consigliere sostitituto notarile? Eviterei "corte di giustizia", che fa immediatamente pensare a Gerichtshof der Europäischen Union

Va sicuramente tradotto, visto che non si tratta di un titolo onorifico. Volevo solo avvertirti, nel caso (e visto che si tratta del BW lo è), di non aggiungere "onorifico"o qualcosa di simile.

Si tratta di Mannheim, quindi nel BW. Ma allora come lo dovrei tradurre? Secondo te non va bene tradurlo?

Controlla, se ti è possibile, in quale Land della Germania ha sede il notaio/rappresentante notarile, dato che ad es. nel Baden-Württemberg "Justizrat" o "Oberjustizrat" non è un titolo onorifico, bensì è inteso come Amtsbezeichnung: "In Baden-Württemberg sind Justizrat (BesGr. R 1) und Oberjustizrat (BesGr. R 1 mit Zulage) als Amtsbezeichnung durch die Landesbesoldungsordnung für Badische Amtsnotare im badischen Rechtsgebiet vorgesehen."
