Here it is talking about microfibre fabric rather than leather, but it seems to be a light tan colour; the 'natural' tan colour is rather orangey and not terribly fashionable, and as you already have a darker version, my vote would go to a lighter tan, as shown here. Seems to be a US term, so might be worth investigating some US sites in particular.

BTW, 'fauve' is NOT at all the same colour as 'tan' — it more normally translates 'fawn' or 'tawny'; however, being paler and less coloured than 'proper' tan, it might well be just what you need here!

However, here someone describes this lighter colour as 'fauve', which is what I would have expected it to be, and which does indeed seem to me to correspond to your 'coaster tan':

And what about "fauve clair"?
"Fauve" is commonly used for leather colors and is probably the translation for "tan"...

One never knows with color names... Coaster is, as Tony says, the things under drinks, or it's a boat that trades along the coast, or it's a thing or person that moves without momentum or someone who suceeds without effort. None of those suggest the quality of a tan color. But maybe the person who named the color has come up with a new meaning, ie someone who suns along a coast so it would be a tan tan.
Who knows? I would agree with Tony that it's probably a dark tan color.

The leather is available in two colors: "dark brown" and "coaster tan". So "chatain" might be a good option...

In EN, the colour 'tan' isn't really 'beige foncé', it's more like 'brun clair' — a sort of 'châtain', like brown Limousin cows (I'm watching them out of my office window!) — and of course, the sort of orangey-brown colour people get when they are tanned (especially out of a bottle!)

If 'coaster' has anything to do with boats and the sea, it might be a slightly deeper tan (hâle) — or than again, it could be a sort of washed-out paler one! I don't really imagine it has anything to do with the little doylies you put under drinks...
