La verdad, yo ya creo que "buzón de voz" está bien, pero también hay que añadir que en España, en conversación coloquial, el 95% de la gente dice "deja un mensaje en mi contestador". En los últimos años el concepto "buzón de voz" ha aparecido, sobre todo proveniente de la industria, y ha ido calando poco a poco, pero si tu texto no es de la industria sino de una conversación coloquial podrías considerar esta opción.

Hoy he recordado que en la locución del \"buzón de voz\" de telefónica (España) dice: \"El servicio contestador de telefónica le advierte de que no tiene mensajes nuevos...\"

También puedes no especificar nada más. Si alguien llama, se entiende que el mensaje queda en el contestador o correo de voz. En general, cuando uno llama a una casilla de mensajes se escucha algo como: "por favor, deje su mensaje"

or "voice mail" would be my guesses, based on Collins Spanish Dictionary, ISBN 0-00-470295-6. Good luck, Doug Williams! (In German "voice mail" is used without translation as the main version, for example. I have heard it even in Russian in definite circles).
