Colin Rowe: luce... perhaps they meant to type "daylight"? / Yes, I wondered if they meant "daylight" as in "clearance" (distance).

Pompeo Lattanzi: Should be Chenglish for "daylight", translated probably from Italian by a machine or other "non thinking" entity. It should refer to the space between mould plates when they open to allow extraction of moulded pieces.
