Este vorba de un gest facut de o persoana sacaita de greseala repetata a unor copii.
Context: "Mother clucked her tongue. “I wish those kids wouldn’t slam that door all the time. They never listen.”

Daca nu ma insel, este vorba de sunetul pe care il scoatem cand suntem iritati de ceva, "piscand" cerul gurii cu limba.

Ma intereseaza cum s-ar putea traduce in romana actiunea pe care o face aceasta mama: "clucked her toungue".

disagree  Marian Popa (X): To "clock" aici se refera la exact zgomotul facut de limba si in nici un caz nu este acesta; "Archpoet" a descris exact sunetul, numai ca nu gaseste corespondent in Romana

  -> Am înţeles la ce se referă zgomotul în engleză, dar are sens în română ? Noi spunem ţ-ţ-ţ sau nţ-nţ.
