struttura complessa a direzione ospedaliera
Just a guess.
I've seen many medical websites with "struttura complessa" (SC), and one with "struttura complessa a direzione universitaria" (SCDU).

Since an exact translation would not make sense in english, how about "Hematology Section" or "Department of Hematology"?

Italian term (edited):
SCDO (struttura complessa a direzione ospedaliera)
multispeciality hospital unit
logical and different from S.C.D.U. (struttura complessa a direzione universitaria [multispeciality university hospital unit])

Or maybe even just "Hospital"??
What is a hospital if not a complex unit of (medical) specialities after all ?!

Discussion
At least I'm not the only one!
We do have several previous KudoZ questions where struttura semplice is translated as "unit" or in once case "sub-department" ... but I'm not completely happy with "unit" because then I think of "U.O" -- unità operativa -- which I've been translating as "unit" in my translations.
I'm looking for SCDO tonight. I think it stands for "struttura complessa a direzione ospedaliera" since I've also found SCDU = "struttura complessa a direzione universitaria" which somebody translated simply as "University Hospital".
But I would love to know a meaningful English translation for this. There are SO many different "strutture" in the Italian medical system.
I hope we can get the final answer for this one.
