En ce qui concerne un palier on parle plutôt de "boîtier", "corps" correspondant plutôt à "shell", alors que pour une turbine, on parlerait de "carter" ("casing" en anglais"). Évidemment ces différences sont très délicates et répondent surtout à des préférences du client. En tout cas, ces termes sont ceux que j'utilise pour traduire des textes de sociétés comme Ansaldo Energia, qui se spécialisent dans la construction de centrales électriques et de turbines.
