I have classed this as "other" as I'm really not sure which category it falls under. I'm translating this text on compression therapy after interventions on the great saphenous vein. The whole sentence reads:
"Les pressions d’interface enregistrées ne sont plus alors inversement proportionnelles au rayon de la cuisse mais proportionnelles au rayon du manchon (plus exactement, au rayon de l’arc de cercle). " I have found two engineering translations for arc de cercle, but I don't think they fit in this context, so if anyone could suggest an alternative I would be most grateful.
