Debate y más debate.... yo que traduzco A ULTRANZA....
Resulta que el "escrow" es similar a un DEPÓSITO EN GARANTÍA peron no equivalente. Por ello es aconsejable dejar en inglés (por que no hay equivalente exacto) y explicar:

ESCROW: (cito a Cabanellas) Depósito de dinero, títulos u otros bienes para que el depositario los entregue a un tercero al cumplirse ciertas condiciones, obligaciones o manfistaciones de las partes o de terceros. Se asemeja, pero no equivale, al depósito en garantía.
