Hi,

sorry I don't write in Spanish (unfortunately I don't speak Spanish). I am looking for a Spanish platform for translators. Is there any Spanish social networking site for translation like Proz?
Could you give me the name or link?

Thank you in advance.
Kasia

Hi,

I wonder, if you don't speak (nor write) Spanish, what use would it be it for?
It might be useless to you.

Maybe this one? Dec 4, 2011

Hello Kasia,

http://www.traditori.es/ is also the only platform I know.
Maybe you can help by explaining what you are looking for? If you do not translate Spanish, then why a platform for Spanish translators?

Come on, Walter, let people live. She maybe wants it for some colleague or she just wants to learn Spanish or her boyfriend is a Spanish translator o she just fancies joining such a social network... Who cares?

XD

Maybe. But that's for her to say.

Anyway, I was just curious, just wondering. It looked like a weird request.

And as Stefanie said, with more info we could provide a more accurate response.

Hi,
first, thanks to everyone who gave me some advice
Dear Walter,
I am looking for Spanish native speakers for a potential big translation project. I am a Polish native speaker and I know that there is a Polish platform for translators - Globtra - which is very popular in Poland. I thought that maybe you guys have such a platform in Spain too...

And again to everyone:
If Proz is the most popular translators network in Spain and I souldn't search on other platforms, please let me know.

Hi Katarzyna,

That makes sense.

Yes, Proz has its Spanish version and it is very popular in many Spanish speaking countries. Actually, one of the most important brunch offices is in Argentina. TC has a Spanish version too and it includes a Spanish forum and many Spanish translators in its database. Same Globtra, just browse around the site.

This is global world.:)

Good luck.

Forum for professional translators. Not really a "social network" as such.
