My name is Francesco, I recently graduated with a MA in Comparative Literature and Cultures, and my majors are Hungarian and Serbo-Croatian language and literature; I also have a BA degree in Linguistical and Cultural Mediation, in which my majors were Spanish and Hungarian. My major interests are translation studies, history, languages, arts, music and everything from which I can learn something new. As far as I had the chance, I've always been around Europe since I was 15 years old to study abroad so I could have improved my language skills: I won a scholarship in London twice, once in Barcelona, once in Valencia, once in Alicante, three times in Pécs (Hungary), once in Bratislava and currently, I am on a scholarship in Rijeka (Croatia). I have also been twice in Erasmus in Budapest during my BA and MA studies. I've always worked on translations (texts, small pamphlets, short scientific or technical publications) and since I started my university I am working on literature translations (Hungarian poems and texts). I have good team-working skills as well as ease working on my own, I always do my best, no matter how hard is the challenge. Whenever I have a chance, I always try to go out of my comfort zone in every type of situation so I can learn from them and improve my skills. |
