I am a qualified translator with a Master Degree in Translation (2016)) for the language pairs English-Italian and German-Italian with various areas of specialization and have a multilingual and international background, life and academic experience as professional Egyptologist (PhD in 2006), Lecturer and Researcher.

Native Italian speaker, born in Rome, Italy, but I have lived and worked also in Switzerland (German speaking part) and the UK (since 2008). I have extensive experience in multilingual and international academic environments and services research and academic writing (Switzerland, UK, Italy), multilingual lecturing (Italian, German, English), translation, proofreading, text editing and presentations.


I also work as Face-to-Face Freelance Interpreter (medical) and Over the Phone Interpreter (OPI).

Rates depend on word count and type of text for translations (ranging from £0.09-0.13 or $/EUR 0.10-0.15 per source word) and on working hours for proofreading and editing (incl. MT-post editing).
