I'm a freelance translator working in various fields but with a special focus on the hospitality industry. I have a Hotel, Catering and Institutional Management Association diploma and the early years of my working life were spent working for various hotels in the UK. Later events in my life brought about a move to Italy and a new career in export sales, however my passion for hospitality has remained constant.
I became a freelance translator in 2005, translating exclusively from Italian to English, drawing from my varied work experience to translate hotel descriptions, brochures, menus, etc but also business documents such as commercial contracts, quality procedures and health and safety documentation and documents for the mechanical industry such as operating manuals, catalogues, etc.
I am also available for liaison interpreting. Having spent 10 years in export sales, I am perfectly at ease in business meetings and pride myself on providing a friendly but professional service.
