coclea
Da Italiano a Inglese
Tecnico/Meccanico
condenser
A structure presumably having the same shape as the inner ear component of the same name, but in this case part of a cooling and water condensing system:-

Hi Alex;
there are several ways to translate "coclea" depending on the use. In your case I have used before "auger" but also *screw feeder* is just as good. Hope it helps see URL: http://www.martinsprocket.com/sconvey.htm
from IT>EN Dictionary here are some translations
1 (mecc.), Archimedean screw.
- ind.), metering screw.
5 alimentatore a coclea (att. ind.), screw feeder.

The double volute pump 14-6
In all of my classes and writings I discuss the advantages of using a double volute centrifugal pump to eliminate radial shaft deflection caused by operating off the best efficiency point (BEP) of a single stage centrifugal pump.
In this paper I will answer those questions I get the most frequently asked about double volute designs
