Now for "lancia sagola"/"lanciasagole", I have "pneumatic line-thrower" (lots of Ghits and even a Wikipedia page), but there is rather less for "lancia cintura autogonfiabile". There are many more Ghits for "self-inflating life jacket" than for "self-inflating life belt", but as the text says "cintura" not "giubbotto", I assume it is actually referring to a life belt.

So I'm tempted to go with "self-inflating life belt thrower" in the absence of anything better. Any informed contributions welcome - TIA :).
